Throughout high school and college, I had the blessing of getting to do what I love, and that's playing sports and being active!! Since I was young, I always loved being outside and moving around; so often my teachers had to give me fidget toys, because I wanted to move, move, move! Now, I'm blessed enough to get utilized my energy and preach healthier living to future students of mine from all different backgrounds. Throughout the past years, it's been hard to find something to really get myself out of bed for, but I have finally found my passion, and that is teaching Physical Education. I am unbelievably excited to see what the next chapter holds and I'm ecstatic to be teaching our next generations for (hopefully) the next couple of decades!
Some of my goals for the future are to hopefully be able to first be a successful teacher in the classroom and then possibly coach high school baseball or softball and eventually help my team win a CHSAA State Championship. This would be a great experience for the kids and I would help teach them so many life lessons along the way. There are so many things that these sports can teach you and that you can apply to your own life, and I've learned that firsthand. As it pertains to teaching, I would like to serve on the SHAPE Colorado Board at some point, in order to advocate for quality physical education across the state and eventually the whole country. This would give me so many opportunities to reach so many different teachers and resources that will eventually benefit the reason we're all here: The Students. Everything I do in the classroom will be for my students and to support their success. They are the reason I have such a passion for Physical Education and why I want to do what I'm doing.
Thank You for visiting my site and getting to know a little about me. I hope you find what you're looking for and remember -- There are only 2 things in life that you can control: Your Attitude and Your Effort.
